The Enterprise Law: passed on November 29, 2005, by the XIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 8th session and effective on July 1, 2006. It provides for the establishment, management organization and operation of limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, partnerships and private enterprises of all economic sectors as well as groups of companies.

The Criminal Procedure Code: passed on November 26, 2003, by the XIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 4th session. The Code prescribes the order and procedures of instituting, investigating, prosecuting and adjudicating criminal cases and executing criminal judgments; functions, tasks and powers of, as well as relationships among procedure-conducting bodies; tasks, powers and responsibilities of procedure-conducting persons; rights and obligations of participants in the procedure and of various agencies, organizations and citizens, etc.

The Civil Procedure Code: passed on June 15, 2004, by the XIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 5th session. The Code provides for the basic principles in civil proceedings; the order and procedures for initiating lawsuits at courts to settle cases of civil, marriage and family, business, trade and labor disputes, and the order and procedures to request courts to settle matters regarding civil, marriage and family, business, trade or labor requirements; the order and procedures for settlement of civil cases, civil matters at courts, etc.

The Construction Law: passed on November 26, 2003, by the XIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 4th session. The Law prescribes construction activities; rights and obligations of organizations and individuals that invest in the construction of works and conduct construction activities.
