Vietnam Law & Legal Forum is a division of Vietnam News Agency. Established in September 1994, its objectives are: to introduce and to provide the English translation of the Vietnamese State's legal documents, to inform the readers of events relating to the legislative process, to respond to questions on the laws of Vietnam, and to act as a forum for proposals from those who are interested in the laws of Vietnam.

Being the only English- language law magazine published monthly in Vietnam, Vietnam Law & Legal Forum provides readers, including lawyers, researchers, scholars and business people, with latest legal documents of Vietnam and updated news reports on major legislative, executive and judiciary activities in the country.
With different columns, such as History and Law, Traditions, Forum, Q &A, the magazine carries writings by scholars, researchers, lawyers, etc., on the history of the states and law in ancient and modern Vietnam, as well as on the customary laws and practices of various ethnic groups of the great family of Vietnam, and replies readers' queries such as how to get investment licenses in Vietnam, to enjoy tax and land preferences, or how to adopt Vietnamese children, etc. Particularly, with unique analyses and commentaries by noted lawyers on individual codes and laws of the State of Vietnam, or international treaties which Vietnam has signed or acceded to, Vietnam Law & Legal Forum gives readers an accurate and systematic view of the legal system of Vietnam. Readers can  also find latest legal documents either in brief in the Legal Updates or in full in the New Legislation section of the magazine.

Besides, we publish every month 12 issues of the Official Gazette, the only English translation of Cong Bao in Vietnam. Cong Bao, published by the Government Office, is an updated compilation of important legal documents promulgated by various State agencies, including codes, laws, ordinances, decrees, directives, circulars.

We have also published the Official Gazette Table of Contents from 1994 and bilingual (English-Vietnamese) publications such as the Civil Code, the Penal Code, the Law on Enterprises, the Commercial Law, the Law on Foreign Investment in Vietnam... The above-mentioned publications have been widely distributed not only in Vietnam but also in many countries in the world through the print and electronic distribution network.
